For your consideration, you are viewing a Vintage 1950s Western Boulder Colo USA Utility Survival Hunting Knife, with a non-matching genuine leather belt holder sheath. The 11 cm blade is carbon chromed steel and the handle is made from stacked leather spacers, with a brass guard and aluminium pommel. These are tough and sharp knives made of the highest quality carbon chrome cutlery steel, the steel extends through the handle in a double tang for extra strength and longer wear. The heavy leather washers forming the handle are locked in place and can't work loose. And are fully protected by the edges of the tang, and the end pommel knob is firmly riveted to the tang. The Stamp on this knife was used from 1950 up to 1955. Tang stamps didn't include the Patent "Number" after 1950. The Western L66 model was on the market from 1952 and all the post-1955 knives had the company's model number stamped on them. This knife has been stamped on the ricasso with- "WESTERN BOULDER COLO" over "PAT.D MADE IN USA".
